How it works

Setup

You pick a pair and amount. Your wallet and the maker agree the rate and two refund deadlines over a relay that only passes messages — it holds no keys or coins.

You lock

Your wallet locks your coins in a hash-timelock contract (HTLC) on the send chain. Only you can refund it after your deadline.

They lock

The maker sees your funded contract and locks the other coin in a matching HTLC on the receive chain, with a shorter deadline.

You claim

You claim the maker's coins by revealing a secret. That same secret lets the maker claim yours. Swap done — atomically.

The worst case if anything stalls: you reclaim exactly what you locked after your deadline. A maker can never take your coins — it can't claim yours without revealing the secret that lets you claim its. Read the details →

Honest labeling

Non-custodial & atomic

The service never holds your funds. Coins are only ever in a contract that completes the swap or refunds to you.

Testnet only

tLTC and tBTC are worthless test coins. This is infrastructure for builders, not a market — the rate is a fixed nominal value.

Single maker, two pairs

One always-on maker (run by us, funded from CypherFaucet) is the counterparty. The pairs are tLTC↔tBTC.

Monero (tXMR → tBTC)

Native, non-custodial XMR swaps exist too, via adaptor signatures — currently in the wallet; an in-browser flow here is coming. Need test coins meanwhile? Use the faucet.
